As Property Accountant, you will assume responsibility for the complete financial oversight of a diverse portfolio of warehouse assets. Acting as a key liaison between operational teams and finance, you will ensure the accuracy, structure, and compliance of all property-related accounting processes. Your work will support transparent reporting, sound financial decision-making, and the overall performance of the asset portfolio.
Overseeing all property accounting activities across a defined portfolio of warehouse assets
Processing receivables and payables in accordance with the accounting system
Verifying and issuing invoices in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Balance and account reconciliation
Monitoring and updating tenant accounts, including incoming payments and account status
Coordinating dunning activities and supporting the collection of outstanding balances
Assisting in the preparation of annual service charge statements in collaboration with property management
Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with internal standards
Supporting audit processes and contributing to year-end financial reviews and closings
Degree in business administration or a comparable qualification in accounting; certification (e.g. Certified Accountant) is a plus
Several years of experience in property accounting, ideally with commercial or industrial assets
Familiarity with property ERP systems – ideally Yardi
Strong command of Excel and other MS Office tools
Collaborative attitude with excellent communication skills
Fluent German (native or equivalent) and professional-level English
