Head of Operational Risk & Resilience - Executive Director

Our client is a leading Corporate- and Investment Bank with its European headquarters in Frankfurt.

The Head of Operational Risk & Resilience (gn) will lead the group and is responsible in managing and developing all aspects of operational and operational resilience risk management across the Firm.

• Lead a team of senior risk managers

• Lead ongoing and future projects on all operational & operational risk management matters

• Lead and manage operational, non financial and operational resilience risk matters in the prudential processes and provide relevant input to ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan

• Responsible for the design, development, implementation and execution of all the elements of the operational & operational resilience risk management framework

• Chair the relevant risk committees and fora pertaining to operational and operational resilience risk management

• Previous experience in managing a team of skilled experts

• Robust understanding and experience in operational resilience topics in particular in relation to technological matters

• Profound experience of non-financial risk management and setting up relevant framework

• Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements / rulebooks and their application to bank and capital markets business

• Former experience with ECB / EBA would be beneficial

• Excellent written and oral English skills; German would be a plus
