The role is responsible for supporting the organisation's engagement with European banking supervisors as the institution transitions to direct oversight by the central banking supervisor and builds out its supervisory governance framework. It combines regulatory expertise with coordination, relationship management and governance support to strengthen supervisory dialogue and ensure the organisation meets its obligations toward European and national supervisory bodies.
Supporting the coordination of onboarding activities, regulatory workstreams and engagement with supervisory bodies as part of the ongoing supervisory relationship.
Supporting the long-term management of the supervisory relationship framework, ensuring effective coordination of regulatory engagements, supervisory priorities, follow-up actions and recurring supervisory obligations.
Supporting the coordination and execution of day-to-day interactions with other relevant regulatory and resolution authorities.
Managing and tracking regulatory requests, supervisory enquiries, deliverables and reporting obligations to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Coordinating internal stakeholders across risk, finance, compliance, regulatory reporting and business functions to support regulatory engagements and supervisory exercises.
Supporting regulatory inspections, stress testing exercises, questionnaires and other ad hoc supervisory initiatives.
Contributing to quality assurance and gatekeeper responsibilities for regulatory communications, ensuring consistency, accuracy and professionalism in interactions with supervisory authorities.
Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting horizon scanning activities to help assess potential impacts on the organisation.
Preparing reports, presentations, briefing materials, analyses and management information for senior stakeholders and leadership.
University degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field.
At least 2 years of professional experience in banking, regulatory affairs, compliance, risk management, regulatory reporting or a similarly regulated environment within financial services.
Familiarity with the European regulatory and supervisory landscape; prior exposure to interactions with supervisory or resolution authorities is considered a plus.
Proven ability to coordinate deliverables across various stakeholders and manage deadlines in a complex, fast-moving organisational setting.
Strong written and spoken English skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional reports, presentations and regulatory documentation.
