The role contributes to strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls across business and operational functions within an international insurance group. It focuses on providing independent assurance over insurance-related processes, supporting management through advisory input, and enhancing audit effectiveness through modern methodologies and data-driven approaches. The position involves close interaction with senior stakeholders and international teams.
Plan, lead, and perform audits covering Insurance Business and Operations, with a strong focus on international group entities.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal control systems in line with IIA standards.
Analyze complex end-to-end processes, including product development, underwriting, claims handling, human resources, and related functions.
Provide advisory input to audited functions and oversee the implementation of recommendations and action plans.
Contribute to the development of innovative audit approaches, including the use of data analytics and AI.
Engage closely with senior management and decision-makers, including board-level stakeholders.
Collaborate with international audit colleagues and participate in regular business travel abroad.
Degree in business administration, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
Several years of professional experience in audit, ideally with exposure to insurance operations and regulatory environments.
Professional certifications such as CIA or equivalent are considered an advantage.
Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
International outlook, openness to diverse perspectives.
Excellent communication skills in English; German or additional language skills are a plus.
