Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in automotive suspension systems. The company specializes in producing original-equipment and aftermarket products.

Purpose of job

This position is responsible for supporting the company’s Compliance & Internal Control function by ensuring adherence to policies, laws, and regulations. It contributes to the development of the compliance management system, provides training and guidance to employees, monitors activities, and conducts audits and reporting to minimize risks and promote ethical business practices across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular evaluations of current practices, identifying risks and opportunities, and implement measures to improve compliance processes.

  • Plan and conduct structured compliance interviews and audits with employees and business partners, ensuring adherence to internal guidelines and external regulations.

  • Prepare, document, and present compliance-related reports, providing transparency and actionable insights to management.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the compliance management framework by drafting, updating, and refining policies, procedures, and internal control systems.

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of proven professional experience in compliance within an international business environment.

  • Recognized qualification in compliance management.

  • Academic background in law, business law, or business administration is desirable.

  • Expertise in organizing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring compliance management systems.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering employee training on compliance-related topics.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex issues and communicate them clearly to non-specialists.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team.

  • Confident user of standard MS Office applications.

  • Advanced command of business English, both spoken and written.

  • Knowledge of German and Japanese is considered an advantage.
