This role contributes to the expansion of the Private Markets product offering and reinforces tax expertise in fund structuring. The focus lies on tax matters throughout the set-up and operational phases of co-mingled and single-investor fund structures, primarily on the Luxembourg platform, with some involvement in other jurisdictions. In close collaboration with the product tax team, you will oversee tax aspects from initial structuring to day-to-day management, and contribute to transaction-related tax topics for investments made by these products.
Act as a key tax advisor during the structuring and launch of new private markets products across various alternative investment strategies
Draft and review tax-related sections of product documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Monitor and coordinate tax advisors involved in product structuring and investment processes, as well as tax service providers supporting investor onboarding
Draft and negotiate tax clauses in side agreements with investors
Assist with tax-related client inquiries during the onboarding process and throughout the operational phase of the products
Provide tax-related guidance for transactions involving investments within the products
Ensure alignment of tax matters related to our products with key stakeholders
Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of tax-related processes for the products
Fully qualified tax advisor and/or legally trained professional with a strong academic track record
Minimum of six years of relevant experience in corporate and international tax, ideally with a focus on fund structuring; significantly more experience expected at Senior Manager level
Strong analytical capabilities combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and navigate diverse stakeholder landscapes
Driven, solution-oriented and collaborative, with a high sense of accountability and intellectual agility
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
