The finance change manager "Data & Efficiency" serves as a bridge between finance, data management, and IT, supporting the modernization of finance processes and systems. The role focuses on increasing automation, improving data quality, and aligning the finance environment with regulatory and reporting standards.
Support regulatory and legal-driven finance projects in close cooperation with the reporting, accounting, controlling, and tax teams
Translate business requirements into technical concepts, acting as a link between finance experts and data management teams
Enable self-service digitalization and process automation within finance
Contribute to business requirements concepts and finance system selection processes
Support data analysts and developers throughout the implementation phase
Serve as point of contact for internal and external auditors and other key departments
Support the implementation of finance requirements on a modern data warehouse infrastructure, aligned with BIRD and IREF standards
Drive the automation of finance processes as lead of the finance efficiency factory, empowering experts to develop solutions based on Power BI and Power Automate
Drive the evolution of the regulatory reporting framework using BAIS and contribute to the future integration of ELIDA as a unified reporting platform
Assist the finance data governance in the capacity of BCBS239 data steward
University degree required in Business, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field
Prior experience in business or IT advisory, either within a consulting firm or an internal department
Proven expertise in data analytics and process automation
Experience in regulatory reporting (CoRep, FinRep) and accounting under IFRS or HGB is beneficial
Familiarity with credit and trading products and their underlying data flows
Solid understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS239)
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to simplify complex data aspects into recommendations
Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, MS Excel, and MS Access (VBA, Pivot)
Profound knowledge with SQL, data analysis tools, and programming languages (Python or R)
Knowledge of data warehouse and cloud-based data architectures is an advantage
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English; German is a plus
