Vice President - Finance Change - BAIS Expert

This position is part of the Finance Change unit, a cross-functional team supporting all departments within the Finance & Control division, including Accounting, Financial Control, Tax, and Regulatory Reporting. The role focuses on enhancing and transforming the bank’s regulatory reporting processes through the BAIS platform. It includes responsibility for system development and optimization, managing the transition to a cloud-based, ELIDA-compatible setup, and supporting the regulatory reporting team with first-line expertise. Acting at the intersection of finance, data, and IT, the position plays a key role in delivering stable, compliant, and future-ready reporting infrastructure across the organization.

• Take an active role in the design and implementation of new or revised reporting procedures in BAIS, including the specification of required data requirements and reporting structures

• Support the ongoing enhancement of the BAIS platform by identifying functional improvement opportunities and contributing to system optimization efforts

• Lead the migration of BAIS from a locally hosted environment to a modern, cloud-based infrastructure aligned with the bank’s long-term architecture strategy

• Drive the transition from a centralized “one-stop-shop” reporting setup to a flexible, ELIDA-based data architecture that enables modular reporting capabilities

• Act as the first point of contact for BAIS-related matters, ensuring smooth system use and supporting the regulatory reporting team

• Several years of experience in project management within financial services

• Proven background in business or data analysis within a finance environment

• Full professionell proficiency in English; German is a plus

• Strong ability to transform change requirements into business concepts and explain them clearly to developers

• Skilled at simplifying complex issues into coherent, end-to-end solutions

  Deep understanding of prudential and national regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. COREP, LCR, AnaCredit)

• Extensive experience working with BAIS, both as a user and customizer; strong knowledge of its data flows, interfaces, and configuration parameters

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of MS Access is a plus
